Further ideas

  • Another option would be to have the main character as the security guard, in which case they would have to monitor the shops, shop keepers etc. Although this would mean the game was limited and therefore perhaps not as interesting?

  • It could be possible for the protagonist to be on the run from the law, for some reason or another, (a crime they did not commit) He or she use to work in a shop, within the shopping centre, whilst closing one night he or she witnessed a murder, and having been seen leaving the scene on camera they were instantly accused. Wanting to prove their innocence and knowing what the criminal looks like they stake out the centre watching, staying under cover so as not to be discovered. (Obviously this needs more work but its a basis)

  • Another alternative would be to reverse the concept Jon instigated, however instead of the protagonist being a mum looking for her kidnapped child, the main character could be the kidnapped child years later searching for his or her parents, with a vague idea of their appearance and knowing that was where they were taken. Along the way they find clues and talk to people who seem to know their parents, however could it all be false hope?
